{Burling}.] [OE. burle stuffing, or a knot in cloth; cf. F.
bourlet, bourrelet, OF. bourel, a wreath or a roll of cloth,
linen, or leather, stuffed with flocks, etc., dim. of bourre.

{Burling iron}, a peculiar kind of nippers or tweezers used
