mulberry.] (Biol.)
The sphere or globular mass of cells (blastomeres), formed by
the clevage of the ovum or egg in the first stages of its
development; -- called also {mulberry mass}, {segmentation
sphere}, and {blastosphere}. See {Segmentation}.
