Impossible \Im*pos"si*ble\, a. [F., fr. L. impossibilis; pref.
im- not + possibilis possible. See {Possible}.]

unattainable in the nature of things, or by means at command;
insuperably difficult under the circumstances; absurd or
impracticable; not feasible.
